Has anyone had image fields working in v3? I added an image field to a dynamic form, adjusted the settings several times, and each time in debug mode, the filed - as being passed to a stored proc - is empty e.g., ''.  When I enable previews and have it set to automatic preview, the page refreshes after browsing and selecting a file, but the after it reloads, it's as if nothing was uploaded and the field clears out.

I've never used image fields in any prior versions of DF so I'm not sure I get it. Are there any demos that include an image field.

HI Jeff, please check out Candace forum on DF 3.0 issues. Simply stated, * There are known issues with AJAX and the file upload/image upload fields. If you are using these fields you should disable AJAX for the form. This is disabled under module configuration, general settings.  -David

Thanks David. I've now toggled 'Disable form AJAX:' to be ON and when I click browse and select a file, the file name is being shown in the textbox next to the browse button (it wasn't before), but when I enable debug mode and click submit, the field is passing blank data ''.

I've tried this in a couple different browsers with no luck. I might be missing something but really all I did was add a new DF image field, accepted all the default values and then modified the form completion event to include '$(Image)' in the dynamic SQL event parameter string - so there isn't much room for error.  - Jeff

HI Jeff, is the default set to "Full Image Only" or "Thumbnail with link",etc? Check and make sure it's set to "Full Image Only" and see if this works for you. Also, if you go to View Form Results, does it show the Image as blank as well? -- David

I just verified “Full image Only” is selected and “view results” shows up with blank image fields. We were working through another issue yesterday so I’m emailing you the xml of the same form I sent yesterday but altered to include an image field. You will see what I’m talking about with this form, it allows you to select an image but never saves it to the data shown in “view form results” or the db. Thanks - Jeff
