    Hello,

I am implementing the Opt-in email on a page that also contains the MesserChat module. I am just looking to gather email address from those who will attend the chat.

When a user is prompted and enters a Nickname for the chatroom, the page will not continue due to the Opt-In email address field asking for their email.

Is there a way to make the email address optional to allow both of these modules to work on the page? or any other suggestion?

Here is the page to see the issue

Thank you in advance for any advice you can lend.

    p.s.

    I love your product!

Well typically there needs to be something in the other module (on the NickName) where they would set the command button (or submit/linkbutton etc...) to be CausesValidatoin=False. This way the page knows to move forward regardless of the validation on the input box. You can also modify the Opt In Email module to remove those validation controls on the page.
