    Chad

DNN have changed the default txt/html editor to FCK editor as you would be aware as that is what I am currently using on your site to type this.

The version of FCKeditor currently offered in DNN 4.8 automatically inserts p tags in the html. This appears to cause issues for Dynamic Registration as it forces a line both before the help icons and any icons or text that you might wish to enter following a user input field.

You will see an example of this issue at a registration form I have built with the previous html editor per http://www.wikithanks.org/Home/Regi...fault.aspx. Content appears on right of the input fields however when it is uploaded into new websites that use the FCKeditor the content is forced down beneath the field by the automatic insertion of the p tags. I've tried numerous attempts to adjust the css but to no avail. This was not an issue in the previous html editor as you are more than likely aware it didn't automatically wrap content with the p tags.

Are you aware of any solutions to fix this easily?

    thanks.

    Miles

Hi. Well I believe this only affects the question header, question footer, and text/html field types right? I believe I did see a thread related to this on the DotNetNuke site and our module really just renders whatever Text/HTML provider you choose to use (you can upgrade to another editor if you wished and Dynamic Registration should support it).

In this case I believe you can get around it by choosing 'Basic Text Box' and then removing the paragraph tags, possibly even adding a < BR > tag to the bottom instead of the paragraph tags and it should fix you up.

    Gungadin you good thing!

Brilliant Chad that solved the issue - all I had to do was use the basic text box option.

Also you are correct it was only affecting the header, footer & other places where rich text editor used - not the question icon next to the input field (that reverts back to the same line when you look at in view as opposed to the control panel view).

Don't know why I didn't think of that , but then have not ever had the need to use the basic txt bx before.

thanks & thanks for producing  a good product.
