Hi,

I've created a form with about 70 questions and it takes about 5 mins to sumit the form. I've noticed with previous post you mentioned that the summit process shouldn't take long regardless of form length. Can you tell me where I can look to improve the performance?

I am also having the same speed issue with Question events to display hidden questions on the same form. It takes about 5 mins to display the hidden questions triggered by an event.

Thanks in advance for you assistance.

Hi, no it for sure shouldn't take 'that long' and ill send over the same patch we have been working on the other client with a similar problem. It did help improve his speed but still not where it needs to be. We are researching this and will continue to see where the hold up is. 70 questions is really getting border line though on how long you might want to have your form. Even if the form was just standard HTML it would take a while to submit a form with 70 fields. Also keep in mind that things like Dynamic Events and so forth also can add process submission time (for example a form with 50 fields that is emailed to three people and also uses several SQL events to save the data could take a lot longer then a form that is just emailed to one person etc...). Like I said though ill email you the patch we have been working on and see if that helps you, there are some performance issues after form submission that we are debugging though.
