Hello

when I add the OptOUT-Link ($(OptOutURL) to a newsletter-text then the link shows to the wrong TabId - it always starts the Home Page when I click on the OptOUT-Link. Any suggestions?

Martin,

Hi. Very weird. I checked out the code and its actually supposed to redirect to the home page if use the $(OptOutALL) parameter but not the $(OptOutURL). Even for the Opt out all we probably need to change that to display a message instead of redirect.

Can you copy/paste the email that is distributed with the link in it. This might help to see if its actually specifying the Home page or if its redirecting to the right URL and then from there the module is redirecting to the home page.

Martin,

Well it looks like from the email that its not set correctly originally (not redirected incorrectly after the user clicks the email). What do you have setup under 'Settings' as far as the standard opt in email module location? Does whatever setting you put there stick or does it always default back to home as well?

Hi Chad

now I did the following and it works: I changed under the Advanced Newsletter Settings the value for OptIn Module Page to another destination and then back to the Newsletter-Page. Now it works fine - but this is a strange behaviour.

Thanks, Martin

When I click on the "opt-out" link it takes me to the newsletter page I created... but I don't see where I (as a user) could actually opt-out of the subscription. I just see a way that I can opt-in to the other newsletters. Where would a subscriber find the place to opt-out?
