Chad,

Configuring 3.0. The $(VerifyURL) , in the verification email, seems to be truncating the domain.

/Subscriptions/tabid/60/ctl/+/Approval/1/OptInID/e307efea-2662-4535-a0b2-a4938f94a820/Default.aspx

Without the fully qualified URl, you cannot verify.

How do I get the token to:
http://www.yourdomain.com/Subscriptions/tabid/60/ctl/+/Approval/1/OptInID/e307efea-2662-4535-a0b2-a4938f94a820/Default.aspx

Hi,

Pleas open a support ticket for this. We have found that this occured when upgarading DNN because the function which generates the friendly URL is adding /ctl/+/ within the link. This needs to be /ctl/view/ or really any other name other than + (you can replace + within that url with 'View' and you will see it works).

We have a fix for this and will make it available under patches and hot fixes. Please open a support ticket to receive it for now though.

I just downloaded 3.10 posted 12/3/2007 and this is what I get for my veriftyURL

Any ideas?

I assume this would be after the hotfix would have been implemented into the latest release.

An important note to this is:

I"m using the simple Opt in module which is linked to the the Larger opt in Module on another page.

Hi. We have discovered this and are working on a fix. A similar fix was recently put into the main Opt In Email module so we are familar with the problem. The problem would go away for the simple opt in module if you disabled friendly URLS until we get the fix out (but who wants to do that? ) We should have something out this next week for this.

Nevermind,

After testing this more I see that the fix was already applied recently. When you go to Host, Module Definitions, what version does it show you are running on? The most current version that should be in patches and hot fixes is 03.10.10.

I got your email and updated to the version you sent me, However I"m still having the same issues when using the simple Opt-in with verify turned on:

When using the Advanced Opt-in I get:

Still an issue for me.

When you go to Host, Module Definitions does it show 03.10.10 for the Opt In Email module? This appeared to have fixed the problem on our site at www.datasprings.com on the Simple Opt In module but if you are still having the problems you might need open a help desk case and give us temporary access to the site (or possibly we can setup a go to meeting to discuss/review)
