In my form I have set single submission mode. I can get somebody to use the form on their computer and then logout of the website. Then another user uses the same computer, and logs into to attempt to use the form, however, the site presents a blank page and doesn't give them the form to fill in.

Since this has happened now to several people, I'm thinking that your module is caching the state of the form capabilities and presenting the single submission effect, even though, as I mentioned in another post, the single submission message is not being displayed at all.

Obviously, when another user logs into my DNN portal I want the form to be presented intact to be filled in, and not for it to show the cached values from another user who used the computer.

This to me seems like a bug, and it would be good to get a fix for this right away.

Thanks,

Brian Armstrong

I see my message has been viewed 51 times, but I guess nobody has an answer.

I know that single submissions are a feature so somebody probably has it working, but documentation between sparse and the forum being quiet, it's hard to know if anybody actually has it working!

Anybody with recommendations?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian... Yes - this is currently designed to be tied to a cookie, this means that if the user were to clear their cookies or use another computer they would be allowed to submit the form again.

We will review changing this in the future or adding some other options such as 'per authenticated user' etc... The other way around this would be to add them to a security role such as 'Already Submitted' and then not show the form of those fields to that particular security role. This would probably be a safer bet if you are wanting to make sure they don't have a chance to submit the form again.
