I would like to request a more powerful "Populate with SQL" statement that would allow including the value of one or many other Questions in part of the statement.  A Textbook example of this would be to allow a States dropdown to filter itself based on the Country Selected.

Example:

Select * from States Where @CountryID = /*DynamicQuestion${Country}*/

This project would required that Questions used in the select statement would automatically cause a postback; like an implied Question Event.

If this is implemented it will need to use the DotNetNuke provided input filters to be sure to protect against SQL Injection attacks.

Thanks,

Matt Christenson

Matt,

Hi. Actually this should be working now as you describe but you still would probably have to create a question event in order to get the 'postback'. Basically I would create one that is for 'displaying a hidden question' only don't set the question to be hidden. Additionally, we are already providing SQL injections and replace statements for several queries that could be executed but maybe you can describe more the DotNetNuke provide input filters? We want to make sure this is implemented.

Also, you would want to use $(ShortfieldName) and not the {} as you listed above.
