I need to assign the value of a querystring token to a Javascript variable  in order to manipulate the value and write it later in the document.  So far I have tried variations on the theme below without success.  Typically, the page just fails to load.

Hi. Hmmm... Are you attempting to insert the javascript function directly into the text/html? Or is this javascript that already exists in a function or javascript file in the portal/skin etc...? I would imagine if it renders just as HTML for the token you could use the token in the javascript. Not sure though and sometimes the text/html will remove certain tags.

The other option would be to use the querystring token in a SQL token (should use a stored procedure to minimize the risk of SQL injection) and perform any logic you wanted to perform in javascript in the stored procedure (if possible). Then the SQL token would return the right variable? You might want to explain a little more specifically in detail what the javascript function needs to do though for me to get my mind spinning in a few directions.

In your explanation, Chad, are you saying put the javascript into an SQL database and then use. You aren't explaining very clearly.
