Hi. Well you can setup as few or as many 'Email Completion Events' as you would like that can be fired off for each form submission or based on a users response. You can also use tokens based on the short field name for the users email. The email completion events allow for a from email address, to email address, CC, and BCC as well. You can use tokens such as $(Email) to send to dynamic tokens if thats what the short field name is set to.

I need to clarify to make sure I understand.

If I don't select a Dynamic Field, then the email is sent upon submission, regardless of any of the responses on the form... is that correct?

In the Message Parameters there are two versions of each field, $(ClientInfo) and $(ClientInfo_FullResults). What is the difference?

Where are the CC and BCC fields? I only see the "Email to:" field on the Advanced Email Properties.

Does the email in the "From Email Address" get a copy of the email? I would do this as the administrator... or should the admin's address be in a CC or BCC field?

Thanks for your help.

Hi. Yes, I think where you are selecting the dynamic field there should be an option for 'Any Field Response'. This means that the form submission will process no matter what the user enters for any field.

The $(ShortField) and $(ShortField_FullResults) works slightly different. One will just display the results of that form response. The other will display the label : fieldresponse and only if the user entered something for that response (not blank).

For example:
$(FirstName) would render 'Chad'
but
$(FirstName_FullResults) would render 'First Name: Chad'

etc...

The area for advanced email properties should have a + character on the left hand side of the section. You need to click that plus character to expand the section and there you should see CC, BCC, Email Priority, etc... You would need to use the CC and BCC as the from email address will not receive a copy. You can use tokens within all of the email from, to, cc, bcc, etc...
