Hi!
I have setup an instance of Dynamic Registration module on a page for site editors (persons who manage content and users on the site, but without full DNN admin rights)
Is it possible to hide the Site editors own information from the form fields, so that the fields are empty until they have searched and chosen one user from the Manage users part.
Best regards Petri
Hi. So basically take them to the manage users page automatically? If so you could setup a link to go to the Manage Users Directory, or you can add &AddUser=True if they have rights to add/edit users and this way they will not see their information but rather a blank registration form (in case they want to add a user). Also.. another 'option' might be to use Dynamic User Directory to build a user directory with the user who is managing other users. Within the item template of the user directory you can create a 'Edit User' hyperlink which is basically a URL as if they were in manage users already and clicking on the edit link. This would look something like this in the user directory item template. http://www.site.com/default.aspx?TabID=555&Manage=True&UserID=[UserID] This would be assuming that the TabID where your Dynamic Registration module is at is 555. One final option might be to set the 'Hide fields be security role' so that all fields are hidden from the user with the 'Manage Content' security role... The problem with this is that if the users have access to manage users I believe this feature is not enabled as it bypasses it. -Chad
