Hi,

I have a Combo Box with three options.

On each of these three options, I wish it to show three differing HTML responses, as well as displaying/unhiding the Submission button.

I cannot find a client side solution to affect the submission button response. I do see examples for a Check box, or a standard Text Box fields, and tried augmenting in hopes to have it work within the Combo Box without much success.

Does anyone have a solution?

One idea, perhaps, is to have the ‘Saveform’ a standard selection criteria within the Question Event’s ‘Affected Question’ selections. <= OOoops..was that a valid & meaningfully structured english sentence? lol..

Anyone’s help would be most welcomed.

Susan,

Hi. Yes you should be able to setup a client side event to handle this. I don't think we have any demonstrations that already showcase this so ill add this to the list in the future (or we do provide premium support hours which cover coding client side events if you are in a time crunch). The code should be similar to either the checkbox or textbox field types. Ummm... question events actually force a 'postback' to occur on the server and therefore they are not something that you would want to use to show/hide the submit button as client side events are much faster.
