Hi,

I work locally and create the dynamic forms and i have to move my work to the production site. When i move the production site and put the files the dynamic forms that i worked locally where not shown. The local work pointed one db and the production work points to another db. So both are seperate dbs. It is necessary that i should have to do a rework in order to enable the dynamic forms in the production server or have to move the local db to the production db also. Please suggest a way.

Please do suggest a way as i have to move to the production site.

Plz do reply sooon

Hi. You should be able to go to 'Export Content' within the local/development environment and then save that file into your portals home directory on the production environment. The file should be named something like content.DynamicForms.somename etc... After adding it to that environment you should be able to go to 'Import Content' within Dynamic Forms and import the file. This is used heavily and you shouldn't really need to recreate the form or anything.

Thanks Chad.

So just export and import the content and it will be fine. No need to create another db or form like that.

Thanks for the help
