Hi everyone,
After initial testing of DotNetNuke 4.4 with our collection of modules everything appears to be working smoothly and without any problems. We have already upgraded to 4.4 and have been very impressed with the performance enhancements that have been packaged with the latest release. If anyone finds any issues please report them and we will get a patch out.
Some new year module release info....
Look for future releases of several modules within the coming month.... Just to name a few.
Dynamic Forms 2.2 - Extended validation controls, ability to add multiple questions per row, content localization to localize each question label/help text/required field text/example text based on the language for the current user, and a few other extras.
Tailored Text / HTML - New support for content localization. Now you can set the text for each language in one area and depending on the users language the text will change
Real Estate Listing Module - Extended options to have more control over the layout of the real estate listing
Interactive User Import - A new import module that has been in Beta but moving right along and will be available shortly.
Dynamic User Directory - Now full support as a stand alone module and not just a directory with Dynamic Registration. The latest release with include the option to work as a directory for Dynamic Registration or DotNetNuke including the DotNetNuke extended fields.
In other news:
Site performance should improve - Over the holiday we added an additional dedicated server for our site. This should improve performance and we will continue to tweak the server over the coming months. We will continue to host customers and our betasprings.com site on our other servers.
New staff - You might have noticed Thyme's post a few weeks ago. Thyme has been on-board as a project manager for Data Springs but her position has recently changed to provide better quality assurance and testing for our collection of modules.
Happy new year to all of our customers and we look forward to delivering quality modules and support within the coming year.
Regards,
Chad
