Hi Chad,

Just saw your description of Stock Quote.  We have been looking for a stock quote that a registered user can select a symbol and have it save so when they go to that page, they see their symbol instead of a few chosen by the admin.

What do you think?

Bob,

Actually this is already a feature that v1.0 has. The module is almost ready for release, Aleksandar is working on the documentation this week.

With v1.0 there is an administrator setting (checkbox) to allow users to add their own stock symbols to the module. They must be a regstered user though and if the admin has chosen stocks it would display those before the user ones. So basically, if you started with MSFT it would display the stock info for MSFT until the user logged in and added their own. I suppose we could customize it more so that it wouldn't necessarily have to display the default stock quotes if the user already selected their own but thats a feature we will look into.

I believe you can test this on the stock quote page now. Just log in and navigate to that page. We have enabled it on one of the example modules and disabled the feature on the other.
