Chad,

In v02.00.00 (using DNN v4.4.1) -

* every time a template is edited, an additional "
" is added to the footer - just a nuisance

* if an item name contains a parentheses and it's used in the display, it crashes the module.

Item Name: [ * First (Given) Name] throws the error ...System.data.DataRow View does not contain a property with the name ' * First '

Notice how it complete the property name up until the left parenthesis of the item name.

A workaround would be appreciated, but maybe I'll just replace the parenth's with something else.

The biggest disappointment so far is that custom DNN profile fields aren't available to the module when choosing DNN registration as the data feed.

My use case is a site where I've custom built some other modules such as license registration (tied to user) that stores the license data into some DNN custom profile fields..

In this way, I'm using DNN to store the whole collection of disparate data coming from several different modules.

But I was hoping I could use Dynamic UD to pull it all out and report with it.

I dunno Chad, I tried v2.1 Ent edition, but saw quite a few errors. I know you write good stuff, but this seemed not ready for prime time.

I finally deinstalled it from the portal.

Maybe what was tripping it up was special characters (like "*"?

At this point it would be good to know whether it was just me. It was running under DNN 4.5 at the time.

Hmmm, We do have a few other users running on the 2.1 build because they had some special requests for some of the features. Your right though about 'prime time' and thats why we have not fully released it yet to everyone.

The issue with custom profile fields should for sure have been fixed though, the issue is that a temporary table is created with all of the custom profile fields and since DNN user credentials and profile fields always have certain fields such as 'FirstName' in two seperate areas this was causing an error when that temporary table was created (can't have two column names that are the same). I suppose the issue could be in same in 2.1, where if its trying to create a column name and that column cannot include special characters it would blow up? I bet thats it.

Hmm... You mind remove the * and let me know if you still have the issue. We can put a fix in to remove the * before adding it to the column of the temporary table.
