Is there any plans in the near future to release a new version of this module?

Some of the extra functionality that I think that you need include to make it one of the best modules on the market:

1. On the search form of dynamic user directory - the search "text input fields" need to be able to be drop downs (both dynamic and static values). It would be good if it was done simular to the "dynamic user registration" module admin area (where you can enter custom queries on all of the fields). This would allow users to create a search form with drop-downs to simplify searches for their users. NO OTHER PRODUCT CURRENTLY HAS THIS FUNCTIONALITY ON CUSTOM USER SEARCH FORMS.

2. Be able to filter the search results by a dnn role. This would allow us to have muliple modules on different pages to search for people in different dnn roles instead of just searching them all..

With a little bit of twaeking this product would be a great product to be used in conjunction with dnnfusion's myprofile module (this is like a myspace module for dnn).

If you would like to see an example of how well your "dynamic user directory" module can work together with the "myprofile" module by dnnfusion then let me know as I have an awesome demo that I can show you so that you can see how well these two modules currently interact with each other.

Hi. Our current schedule has a new release of the Dynamic User Directory that will be available this fall. We actually have a beta of 2.1 available now which includes some new features but we are planning to add several new features similar to your needs here (filter and serach by role) and also the ability for the search field types to field types such as dropdownlist of text etc... We were going to enable this to be similar to Dynamic Registration fields (so if your field is a radio button then it would be a radio button when you search) but since this module works as both a user directory for the DotNetNuke Core registration and also Dynamic Registration I think allowing users to enter a list of items that would appear in a dropdownlist would work the best.

So basically, to answer your question. Yes these two features should for sure exist in the next release which is due out this fall.

Great. Yes the updated release has some nice new features for the detailed listing, ability to export users, ability to filter by role (both include and exclude), and some added functionality so that you can have search fields which can now be dropdownlists based on a comma separated list or SQL query... As always we are interested in any feedback you might have to let me know!
