Hello!
I have created a list of incoming job seekers, where I can see First name and Lastnamne and a "More info" link to a detailed view.

The problem is that I can't print the "Detail" view, I only get the list of the "Item" view when I use the Print button of the module.

Any solution on this?

Kind regards, Oskar

Oskar,

Hi. When the [UserDetailView] tag is rendered, this is just rendered as a URL to the same page but also passing two properties along the querystring, this is Detail and UserID... So to create your own User Detail Link you just need to navigate to a page (usually the same page) with the user directory module and pass it a property for Detail and UserID. So... www.site.com/tabID/yourtabID/Detail/True/UserID/[UserID]/default.aspx

Finally.... if you want to make the URL open up blank there are other parameters you need to pass it. These include /dnnprintmode/true/ and also ?SkinSrc=%5bG%5dSkins%2f_default%2fNo+Skin&ContainerSrc=%5bG%5dContainers%2f_default%2fNo+Container to set module container to not be displayed at all.

So... Sounds confusing but can be done. The easiest way to do this is to click the 'Print' icon of the main user directory module, then copy and paste the entire URL into the clipboard. Finally, go and create a hyperlink inside the item template within the Dynamic User Directory template. Paste the URL that you have stored in the clip board. Finally, right before you see /Default.aspx add /Detail/True/UserID/[UserID/Default.aspx instead of /Default.aspx. Then save the template and .... You should have a pop up detailed view of the users information and will reference the Detailed Template within the module, show no container, and be in print mode so it shouldn't show any menu or anything.

Hope this helps!
