Hi,

How do I integrate DNN Country Field using Dynamic Field? I can create a list of country, but I couldn't associate it with the DNN core's country, as the dropdown only has Country Name.

There is an option to integrate DNN Country on the module configuration, so I assume this can be done.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Anton

Anton,

Hi. Check under the Manage Settings, DNN Core Integration, Advanced DNN Integration settings. Within that area there is an option to integrate the region field. The region field must be based on a question type of combo box however you do not need to have any options/values specified within the combo box.

Hi Chad,

I'm using the version 02.10.00 and there is no option to integrate the region field under Advanced Core Integration Options.

The available options are:
  • Auto Create UserID
  • DNN User Authorization
  • DNN Time Zone
  • User Location/Language
Is Country field integration not supported in this version?

Thanks
Chad

Anton,

Hi. Sorry I thought I had already responded to this. I was wrong, the region field is actually part of the standard DNN Core Integration option (not the Advanced Core). You will see region in the same dropdownlist under optional field types. You will need to create the field as a combo box field with SQL Options, the example provided for SQL options is actually specifically for this question type (Exact query needed for Region field).
