Hi All,

Am I able to do this in Dyn Reg?  If so, how can I accomplish this?

I have a registration form requesting name, address, phone number, etc,  Also, included in the form is a Mentor field.  The Mentor combo box actually pulls the Display Name via a select statement.

Now, I wanted to set up a completion event where when I select the Mentor from the combo box... I want a new field to display the phone number of the mentor field.

I was able to get the event to display when appropriate, however, I'm having a hard time getting the box to display the phone number associated with the display name in the combo box.

Please help.  Thanks.

HI Domenic, quick question, on your combobox for the Mentor field, you say it's pulling the "Display name" from an SQL select statement, what is the questionoption and questionoptionvalue? Is the questionoptionvalue the phone number? If your question event is triggering correctly (making the textbox appear), you will need to set the textbox shortname = the combobox shortname (anothewords, user javascript instead). Please get back if this answers your question or not. -- David

Hi Dave,

The reg form that I created is an internal form so I was able to make it work using a combo box that pulls a single value.  I guess it's a quick fix of sorts but it gets the job done for me.

To answer your question, I understand what you're saying and I believe that would be the correct path to take, however, I just didn't have the time this weekend to try it out.  I will do so shortly and update my post.

Thanks.
