I would like to create a 2 column layout on my registration page in a single content pane in order to avoid an additional registration page or long scolling  to collect a lot of information.  I have experienced this type of layout on many dotnetnuke sites.  I would also like to add a horizontal rule at the end of the 2 columns and then repeat the layout again with another section of fields to collect additional information.  My goal is to maximize the space on my registration page.  Also, the fields in the 2 column layout, seperated by horizontal rules, would need the ability to tab through the fields in the first column over to the 2nd column before each horizontal rule.  How do I accomplish this?

Hope this makes sense and thanks for any help.

Would I need to modify the ascx view file to accomplish this?  Please advise.

Thanks,

Paul

Paul,

The only way to currently do this now would be to take advantage of some of the current layout options...

* Under Field Look & Feel, you can choose the option to possible add the field label and column to same table cell

* Under Field Look & Feel, you can choose to have the field displayed on the same row as the previous column (this way you can have as many columns within the table row as you wish).

Other options exist for layout but it sounds like these will be what you need.

Thanks Chad...I'll give this a try.

By the way, lately when I view this page within your site:

http://www.datasprings.com/Support/tabid/613/Default.aspx

The font is really large compared to the rest of the pages within the site.  I am using IE 7.  FF renders the font properly.

You mentioned adding a HR after a set of fields. I did not see Chad answer it (sorry if you did). I have accomplished this with the Custom Text/HTML.
