I have set up each field in my DynReg form to link up to a corresponding custom DNN Core Profile field.

When I update user record from the DNN core profile section (Admin -> User Accounts -> Manage Profile) for example by updating a text box, then DynReg form shows the updated textbox data from the DNN core. BUT the drop down lists in DynReg are refusing to reflect the changes I do in the DNN Core. Any ideas on how to resolve/work around it?

Of the 2 DynReg drop down lists I have one linked to a textbox DNN Profile field and another is a custom DynReg Country list which is linked to DNN Core country drop down list list. So if I change DNN core textbox or change the country my DynReg drop down lists don't reflect those changes.

Polina,

Hi. A few things... First I think that this was a bug in the initial 3.0/3.1 release but has been fixed with the patch that was posted.

Also... I believe that these do not get updated for host user accounts so this is something you will probably want to test with a standard user account (either as the user or managing the user). The extended core field you setup under Admin, User Accounts, Manage Profile Properties (I realize you probably already know this but its useful for other users reading this) should be setup as a text field to work properly with any of the Dynamic Registration fields.. This includes listbox, combo box, checkboxlist etc...

So, I just setup an example of this on www.betasprings.com and it does appear to be updating so please check if you are testing against standard users or the host account and/or please duplicate it on the betasprings.com site if you are still having problems.

Ok I managed to duplicate the error on your betasprings site. It is the Listbox type control that does not sync with core DNN.

I have set up a test form here:
http://www.betasprings.com/PolinaTest/tabid/215/Default.aspx

and created a user polinapolina

If you edit the user's profile through core DNN profile (Admin -> User accounts -> etc) and change the field "List" to say "C" then the value in the DynReg form for the user polinapolina does not get updated to "C", it remains at B

But I think a single line Listbox is the same as a combobox so I will use combobox in my portal for now as it syncs up with core dnn just fine.
