When I add a security role to any users that has registered using DNN Admin (Add New User) It works without any errors.

I have added a locale & timezone field to the Dynamic Registration forms but still get the above error.

I am using DNN 4.7 & Dynamic Registration 03.10.21

Hi. I read a few threads on this on DotNetNuke.com so I would suggest you check there as well. I believe this was an issue in 4.8 and has been in fixed in 4.8.1/4.8.2 I believe. From the threads I have read it was always related to users who did not have a default locale or default timezone though. So if you have confirmed that they have both of these then I would confirm they actually selected the local etc...

Check out this forum thread related to adding users to DNN security role issues.

It could also be possible the user didn't have an email address. DNN will attempt to notify the user that they were added to a security role so if the user doesn't have an email that could be a problem.
