I have been trying to figure out how the two tables  DynamicRegistration_Question and ProfilePropertyDefinition are related.

Is there another table that links them?

Any insight is appreciated.  Thanks again for all your help.

George

*edit* unmm. .  CNN = DNN  Can't edit the title

funny...

Well basically there is no 'direct' references within the database directly. Here is a quick run down.

1. Dynamic Registration responses are stored in DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse table and that has a reference to the QuestnioID

2. When advanced field properties for a field (or under DNN Core Integration) is 'linked' to a DNN Core User Property two things happen.

a. Whenever registration info is saved, it sees that the field is linked and via code it also stores that same data in the core property
b. Whenever registration form is rendered, it sees that the field is linked and instead of pulling from DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse table it pulls from the core directly.

So the linking is more directly via the code. It actually has to be this way because there is nothing (or it would be modifying the core code) for the information to automatically save in a seperate table everything you updated the core. This way if you go to Admin, User Accounts, manage a user, and edit their core properties, Dynamic Registration will pull in those new values correctly the next time it loads.

Hope this helps!
