I have a custom login page (UserLogin) and a custom user registration page (UserReg). In the DNN Site Setiings under Advanced Settings I set the "Login Page" to UserLogin and the "User Page" to UserReg.

Now, if a user is NOT logged on and clicks the DNN registration link or clicks the registration link on my Dynamic Login page the system navigates to the login page and NOT the registration page.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dynamic Login Version - 02.20.10

Dynamic Reg Version - 03.20.51

DNN Version - 04.08.00

More than likely (like... I would bet a lot of money on it ) the Dynamic Registration page is not set to be viewable to 'All Users'. Because of this when the user is directed to the registration DNN says... Wait, the user doesn't have access to this page so lets force him to sign in first.

So... I would check the permissions on the page and make sure its viewable to all users.

Rick, in case you're feeling alone in having overlooked this, I just spent hours frustrated by the same problem. Thanks for the question, and Chad, thanks for the response!

Don't feel bad, I only 'was betting on it' because we have had a lot of users run into this situation!

One thing we are looking at for the next Dynamic Registration release is a 'warnings' link button in the control panel that will highlight areas of your configuration that we can detect... And then you can click a link on the main control panel to see these messages such as 'You have fields marked as required without any required validation text' or 'Your registration page is not set to viewable for all users' etc... These will be optional warnings you can view and sometimes just informational (for example you might want the page to be a profile page and not viewable to all users etc...). Maybe we will just check to see if its set to the 'Register' page and is also not set to 'Viewable to all users' or something... Anyway, glad you are up and running!
