When someone hits [subscribe] in the advanced Opt-in module and no e-mail address is filled in, Opt-In add's an 'empty' user to the list and shows: Message failed, contact support.

Dirk,

Hi. This might be an issue with your validation on your site. If you are using FireFox your server might require some changes to the web.config to run with ASP.NET validation (we outline some walk throughs on doing this with a setting called 'browsercaps').

It should work as it does on our main opt in newsletter page, requireing the user to submit an email address:

Hi. Well if the issue exists with Firefox I would check out this thread:

Chad,

I installed BrowserCaps. It works correct, but i still can add an empty e-mail adress.

You could try to remove the user with no filed e-mail address from your Opt-In.

Then click on Subscribe (with Firefox).

What happens?

Tnx,
Dirk
