I have 2 email fields on my website.  The first is the standard DNN core email field, and the 2nd is a field that I added to the user accounts.  I am using Dynamic Registration when the user registers and capturing their email address and their Cell phone email address.  I am automatically opting them in to a group called email and another group called text message if they choose so.

What I need to be able to do is choose which email field that will be used when choosing the group that I want to email to, or is there somewhere else in the module that you can choose what field the email address is in.

Thanks,

Kyle

Kyle,

Hi. Sorry I missed this thread, I was out of town last week. I know we have exchanged emails over the last few days so please feel free to post any solutions you implemented. I believe our email threads covered using a few SQL Events to add the users to the opt in email tables seperate from using the actual opt in email integration (because you didn't want to force users to check a box before opting them in)... I believe you created two lists, one for standard emails and one for opt in lists right?

Chad,

I don't quite have this worked out yet, but when I do, I will post what I did here.

Thanks,

Kyle
