Hi all,

I am using enterprise version 3.1. Can anybody tell me how to use the newsletter template feature?

I have tried many times to create a template to use. However, it does not save when you click update and I cant find any other save link.

Am I missing something or just stupid?

Cheers

Has anyone found an answer to this. I also need to create and use templates (rather than just previous newsletters). Using previous newsletters seems like more of a hack to do what we want to do rather than a proper solution. Since I always want to start with the same template.
Thanks,

Hi. Ok, well the real problem here is that the feature is there but just isn't working right? There is a feature to specify a newsletter template within the settings area of the module, its just not saving correctly? We have recently found that any module using the 'Settings' area with Rich Text Editors within DNN and has AJAX turned on then this creates a problem as during updating the AJAX and Rich Text Editor don't get along very well. We discovered this within the settings area recently within the main Opt In Email module and have fixed it for that module. So... The work around is simply to go and select 'Basic TextBox' when saving your newsletter (this or turn AJAX off) until we get a fix out that also applies to the Advanced Opt In Email module.
