I am running DNN 4.8.3 and Opt-In 3.10 and I cannot change the style or content of the messages in the layout section. settings>>Opt In Email Module Settings>>Layout.

I changed content and clicked the update message link and it removes my changes. I have tried in both IE7 and FF3.

Also, I cannot seem to get the header and new subscriber message to pick up the style of my container. The Existing subscriber and footer message are picking up the container style, but they are in the bottom half of the module.

My guess is there is some type of bug or difference between the top and bottom section.

Please help it looks silly.

Thasnk,

John

I could really use some help with this one. Anyone else running 4.8.3 and opt in 3.10? If so, can you test whether you can change the text in the header. I change the text and click update message and the text reverts back to the original text.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,

John

Just tested on 4.8.4 and can't get it to work there either. No all that surprising if this is caused by a change in the core.

I got it to work by switching to the basic textbox mode, but there still seems to be a bug in the richtext code.

Thanks,

John
