Ok, I looked all over and am unable to see/find the "Generate Create Table SQL" under form Completion Event (after selecting "Dynamic SQL Statment"  for version 3.0. I had it in ver 2.7 but not this one??? I even tried the "Enable initial SQL data bind" under Control Panel. Tried Diffrent skins and its NOT there. what gives???

HI Anthony, that's very bizarre. What do you see there? Is there a large area to type in SQL statements as well as all the shortname tokens under SQL Parameters? I don't see why this would happen. Can you create a new page and add DF and see if the new page shows it? Also, if possible, show a screenshot of what you see here. -- David

Yea, I thought it rather strange. it looks like a skin issue but I tried it with other skins and on other sites and it still dosent show the links. Heres a link to a screen shoot

Hi,

I had the same issue - it is skin related.  Notice in your screenshot how the text under *SQL Parameters* is cut off on the right?

The way I got around it (and I'm only using a test server at this stage so it wasn't a problem) was to change my skin from a 1024 fixed width skin to a wider one (either 1280 or bigger, can't remember).

Hope that helps.

Patto.

HI everyone, I just checked this out and on DF 3.0 using Mozilla Firefox, the page renders just fine. However, when using IE 8, it is being cut off exactly like how you have it. We will be researching this issue. -- David

Thanks, I will be awaiting an update. I created a work around by modifying the ascx to put the values in another table cel so I can continue working.

OK, I think I have been rather patient waiting for a fix for this issue! It has become very frustrating to try to use this option when I create a new form.
WHERE is the fix WHAT Happend to the research that was being done on this issue??????

Anthony,

Hi. Thanks, we have this on the list for future updates but its been somewhat difficult to debug (only happens in IE8 and not on every skin/site). This has also not been on the the high priority list yet because the 'Assistance Links' should show up in other browsers and you typically only use them for new form setups/configurations specific to SQL Events/Inserting records into your own tables etc... Basically, this is on our list to fix and check out why its happening in IE8 but we have been out other fires and bugs first. Ill try and push this up the list for future versions and releases.

Here is a screenshot of IE7 with the default DNN MinimalExtropy Skin and Containers.  Both wide and narrow cut off the right side.  I tried Firefox and I see the entire right side.
