Hello,

I am in the process of creating a form that would allow a user to apply a "service" to a specific record they choose.

I have created the service information form using Dynamic Forms and have added a DNN Reports Module that includes the list of clients that the service could be applied to.

I would like to make it so that the service information is inserted for a client(s) that is chosen from the Reports Module.

Is there a way to add a checkbox to the reports module in order to select one or more clients and then have each of them recieve the service information that is entered?

It would seem to incorporate functionality shown in Demos 14,21 and 26, but if someone could point me to or assist me with an example of how this might be done (can it be done?) that would be appreciated.

Thanks, Nathan

HI Nathan, I'm not familiar with the DNN Reports Module. However, are you only using it to display a list of clients? Where is this list coming from, an SQL table or entered manually? I believe you can accomplish all this using Dynamic Forms using SQL stored procedure and dynamic email form completion events. -- David

Hi David,

Thanks for the response.

Demonstration 14 includes an example with a DNN Reports module that you could check out (http://www.datasprings.com/Products/DNNModules/DynamicForms/DynamicFormsDemonstration14/tabid/878/language/en-US/Default.aspx).

The report comes from a SQL query that grabs data from a separate database.

I would like to be able to select more than one client to apply a service to and am not sure how I would add checkboxes to the list and then apply the information gathered from the Dynamic Form to the clients that are checked.

It sounds as though your suggestion is plausible, I'm just not sure where to begin.

-Nathan
