Still trying the betasprings and reading the user guide, but I can't seem to get clarification on a question.

Can I have an image display based on a selection from a SQL fed drop down list? Scenario would be an order form, where the parent option has a field for image location. If the user selects Product1 how can I have an image display next to the form based on the selection?

Thanks,

Ron

Hmmm... Well HTML fields can accept tokens in the latest release so I believe you should be able to render an image with an image tag. The 'Value' of the dropdownlist would have to either be the URL or the filename and then you would have to use HTML to actually display it.

Something like this:

< img src="http://www.site.com/yourimagesdirectory/$(ProductDropdownlist)" >

You would have to create a question event as well to make sure changing that dropdownlist would then cause that HTML field to render. There might be other results related to client side events that could change the value of a DIV tag. There are some examples of client side events on our product demonstrations page. You would have to be creative with the DIV and make sure that the dropdownlist value was actually the filename but it should be possible yes.
