Hi, how can i use table in an e-mail event. I have tried a lot but i cant get the table to work in an e-mail event. i have a form with many fields and it would have been nice to sent the result in a table to make it more like the online form. But all i have tried get up mismatch.  It dont seems like the event generator now how to deal with the

, sometime all ends up in one line, sometime all end up in one column, not like any normal table behavior. What can i do? I use version 2.6

Hi...

Previously this column was set to only allow for 3000 character and so whenever you would save '3001' it would truncate the end of the email message (which means the tags that were actually your table)

Well we are researching this as another client has been running into the same problem. Basically this should be fixed in 2.6 so that the EmailMessage column within the database allows for unlimited (text column data type) size and the stored procedures are set to a column type of text as well.

Can you tell me what your database is setup under (i.e. SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server Express) etc... This might help us in narrowing down why this is happening. I am running on 2.6 on our development environment with SQL Server 2005, I generated about 30,000 characters (from http://www.lipsum.com) and was able to save the event successfully and when I pull it back up all of the characters are in tact). Can you run the same type of test? Does the table save correctly but just does not look right in the email, or does it seem like its truncating part of your text / html?

Also, to get a good count on your text/html I suggest that you click on the source icon and highlight all of the html within the Rich Text Editor. Then go to a site such as http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/script2/charcount.shtml and get the full character count. This should also help to see if it is truncating, where its truncating at.
