I am new with this module.

I've just created a form, field etc... design part of the form is fine.

I want now to have my form mailed to me (administrator) and the person who filled out the form.

I tried with new event,  Dynamic email, and followed the guide instruction but it doesn't work (I do nt receive any email from the form)

What exactly do I have to do?

Any suggestion, it's a quite easy request but cannot succeed for the moment.

Patrick,

Hi. Well you are headed down the right path... A few questions.

1. Does email work in other areas of DNN? For example, if you go to Admin, Newsletter and try and send yourself a message do you receive it there? If so what is the from and email to address? If not, check the SMTP settings under Host, Host Settings, Advanced, SMTP Configuration. Dynamic Forms uses the same function calls that the core does to send out email so if it works int he core it should work in Dynamic Forms.

2. Is your email event set to be fired for 'Any Field Response' or is it based conditionally upon a users response?

3. What is the email from and email to settings set to? If you are using email tokens (for example to email the user submitting the form) then try and just set these temporarily to static email addresses and then once you verify that its working properly go ahead and change them to then use the tokens.
