I need to make a calculation to submit to Paypal and so I am using the Calculate Total functionality.  When using the value from a textbox, for example $(myNbrMemberships) * 350  the result is '0', I assume because the textbox value is text and not an integer or float and so cannot be calculated.  How does one do the conversion to an integer in Calculate Total?  This seems like it would be obvious.

Thanks -- Mike

Interesting -- I added another set of parenths and it worked --

($(myNbrMemberships) * 350) works, but $(myNbrMemberships) * 350 did not.

Hmmm... Interesting... Also, for any text that needs to be forced to be a integer/value you might try adding parseInt(value) etc...

Also, make sure you are signed in as the administrator and add ?Debug=True to the querystring after default.aspx. This will spit out the exact javascript that is rendered which should provide some helpful information for debugging the javascript / client side event.
