We are experiencing a problem that may be unique to our users but would like to know if there is a fix or workaround.

We are not running the packaged DNN FCK editor we are running version 2.6 and we have it set to use div's instead of p's.

Whenever we create a field and change it from the standard text field to another type of entry the header and footer automatically generate the opening and closing div tags, no content, just the tags. When you then go look at the form there is additional space above and below the field because of the tags.

Can anyone think of a reason why this content would be generated? We don't seem to get it in any other module.

We have seen the editor add some really funky stuff before, sometimes < P > tags, and sometimes 'null' etc... The only suggestion I have is to change the editor to 'basic' textbox and remove any text within it. Other than that, you should be able to change each instance of the editor I think. So maybe the editor for this module instance can be defined with different parameters than others? How exactly did you setup the RTE to be using DIV's? Ill try and duplicate this here locally and see if there is something we can add or change in the module for this. Another option (we have already done this for the null scenerio'. Is for Dynamic Forms to check the header and footer and if the only thing it sees is the DIV open and ending tags it would not render it.
