Has anyone been able to add an option to for the user to input quantities for products that would be sent to a total field using a layout similar to the Authorize.net Demonstration.

There used to be a form on BetaSprings but the site wasn't loading this morning called Jarrod's form.  I'm looking for something similar to that in terms of calculations to substitue for the Products section of the Authorize.Net Demo.

http://www.datasprings.com/Products/DNNModules/DynamicForms/DotNetNukeFormsDemonstration5/tabid/841/Default.aspx

I am new to the module but am trying to get an order form up and running shortly.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

David,

You may not have been able to pull up Jarrod's form because betasprings was down earlier.  Click here to get to it now.  Check out these other examples, too:

ok- So I have two productrs set up in an order form that a user can enter a quantity and results in a subtotal for that particular product using the client side events from Jarrods Forms.

Now, I want to add those two subtotals together to get a grand total to pass to Authorize. Net and to display for the customer in a similar way to Demo 6 -"Your total comes to: $0.00".

Can you help me do this?

David,

There should be a few ways to do this:

1. Setup the client side events to perform an entire calculation each time.
2. Add all of the fields from one section to a hidden field value and then add all of the others to a seperate hidden field value. Finally, near the end have a client side event add those two properties together for another hidden field value?
3. Add the two subtotals as mentioned in step #2 but then use the 'Payment Gateway' calculation total to add them. I think that that point you can reference $(Calc_TotalField) for Authorizenet. So $(Calc_TotalField) could look like this: " $(SubTotal1) + $(SubTotal2)" and then within Authorizenet payment gateway it would be &x_amount=$(Calc_TotalField) etc...

You might let us know what solution ended up working for you or what direction you took to help others out in the future.
