I see a problem with the Image field. In the settings for this field, you have 3 options for the upload, Full Image, Thumbnail, Full and thumbnail. I need the Full and Thumbnail option. The problem that I see is that  if you do not set both the height and width parameters for the thumbnail, no thumbnail is generated.

I am building a Gallery site for professional photographers and they are very squeemish about the appearance of their work when it is displayed.

In using this field, I would expect to be able to set either height OR width and have the thumbnail generated proportional to the setting I have entered. Setting both parameters distorts the image terribly!

Jim,

Hi. Yes at this time (be design) the thumbnail feature requires both a thumbnail height and a thumbnail width. We are in the process of adding enhancements to the image fields for both Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Registration (to include an automatic preview and other features) so we will review the enhancement request.

Jim,

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that we have reviewed this enhancement and have decided to go ahead and publish it with the next round of minor enhancements for both Dynamic Forms & Dynamic Registration. We hope to have this ready by the end of next week! We are already working on enhancing this portion so this should just be an added feature we can add.

Whenever you manage image questions you will now have an option for thumbails to be 'Fixed' which is how they are not, or 'Relative' which is will be based on the actual image size.

These will enhancements will be part of the current 2.6 and 3.2 released versions and will be added to Snowcovered patches and hot fixes soon.

Thanks,

Chad
