Everything was going really well until I decided to login as a "Registered user"!

I went to the page for the form which can be viewed by admins and registered users. I saw the page but the forms module showed only the module label at the top and an empty container below it.

This has to be a security issue but I cannot find the answer. I have searched the User Manual and this forum but can find nothing on this problem. Perhaps I am using the wrong keywords for my searches but, I have tried to find info before posting this.

Any ideas?

Chad

Jim,

Hi. A few questions:

1. For each field there is a setting to 'Hide fields by role', is this setup for any fields?

2. What version of DotNetNuke is this and what specific version of Dynamic Forms (you can find the version of DNN under Host, Host Settings. You can find the version of Dynamic Forms under Host, Module Definitions)

3. Does the form display for non registered members?

Chad,

I have deleted the page and added another that uses a new form identical to the first (as far as I know). Everything is functioning as expected and the page is hidden from unauthorized users.

I am very new to using Dynamic Forms (about 2 weeks) and I must assume the problem was something that I did (or didn't do correctly).

Thanks for your assistance, though!

Jim,

Anytime a module is visible to admins but not to other roles, I always go to the module settings first and make sure that my 'View by' and 'Edit by' settings are correct.

Hope this helps!
Candace
