I was just wondering -- when do you think you will have a production release ready for this module?  I've downloaded the beta version.  Does it work?  It looks like you must specify a specific user to email a notification to.  Is that the plan or can you/will you be able to designate groups of users.  I don't see an option to specify a general class of users.  In my case, I want to send notifications to users whose roles are expiring.

Hi guys,

 

This module is exactly what I need, however I need it to be able to send out e-mails to the user with the role that is about to expire. Is there a new beta version I can use that uses this or maybe I can purchase the source code and change it to what I need to do.

This would be very much appreciated as the sooner I get get something sorted out the better.

I'm interested in this one as well. DNN has an automatic reminder if you're role is about to expire, but it's hard to configure.

Hey guys...

Sorry for the late reply, I was hoping to have a more concrete release date for this but we have a few module updates/releases ahead of this on the schedule. We can make the source avaliable to anyone and keep in mind that we do offer Premium Support Hours which can handle custom development if you need it.

Dustin - one thing to keep in mind is that the purpose of this module is actually to do what you describe above, "I need it to be able to send out e-mails to the user with the role that is about to expire". When you are setting up the role reminder for the specific role you would just need o include the email token (I think its [Email]) within the email to field, just as you would use any of those tokens within the email body or subject fields as well.

I tried the e-mail token and it didn't work. It is not recognized. If you have the source that would be cool.
