Am i missing something? I have made sure the usernames correspond to the core DNN username field. However, the person's username is not displaying in the header of my skin. Only the registration icon is.

Any usernames prior to the installation of the data springs registration form do display.

If I look at the html of the icon using Firebug, the text "click here to edit your account profile" is still showing but the >user's name followed by the end anchor tag is missing instead it just shows /> after this text and there is no anchor tag.

Everything else works just fine. I am using the latest version of dynamic forms, am using the standard DNN login module, have got the registration set to public with an advanced captcha form. I am using DNN 4.08.04

How do I rectify this?

NB. The usernames which don't display are not administrators and the form has completion events which give them a role.

The usernames which do display are only my two administrator names which were created before I installed the dsprings form.

Yes I am missing something. I'm missing not having read the user manual properly.

The Register hyperlink changes to the Display Name, not to the Username, therefore make sure you have one of your Dynamic Fields mapped to the DNN Core Display Name.

Note: You could alternatively make DNN display the Username in the header of the site instead of the Display Name.

To do this, go to Admin -> User Accounts -> User Settings -> in the Format Display Name field enter [USERNAME] (or any other token/word you want to display) and Save.

You will see the change immediately in the User Accounts table.

Doh! Above advice regarding being able to change the User Settings Display Name field is still relevant however, one must still map a Data Springs field to Display Name!

DNN looks at the Display Name value and then will change it to whatever you want, however if you still have not mapped to Display Name then it isn't  gonna change what's not there!

Here I was wondering why my brilliant idea didn't work.....I deserve to be slapped across the face by a large fish...again!

Tar me in feathers and dump me at the side of the road because in the Core fields there is an option to map the display name to any of your Data Springs fields. Yes, I had completely missed this basic fact. Double doh!
