Hi,

I'm saving forms to a custom database table and I want the user to be able to retrieve forms that only they have submitted.

Before the form can be saved the user must name it. Then when a user wants to edit the form they have saved I want them to have a list of their saved form to choose from. I've tried populating a dynamic property with the Form Names and UniqueCompletionID that are returned from a stored procedure but there is no way of passing parameters such as $(UserID) to this sproc so the user sees all forms created by all users.

Is there a way using DynamicForms to display a list of those forms that a user certain user has created?

Hopefully this question makes sense.

Damien

Damien,

Hi. Well this feature is not a direct feature in Dynamic Forms (it has been discussed many times and we will probably add it soon) however we have worked with implementations that handle this.

Specifically... You can store the UserID within the custom table right? So you are storing the form, the users name for the form, and their userID successfully right? From there it comes down to the reporting module site, almost any great reporting module should have the ability to have a UserID token within it. We recently handled an implementation that used ListX for an area called 'My Listings' or 'My Submissions' that seems very similar to what you are wanting. We then used it with Edit Links within the report and those edit links would go back to Dynamic Forms and use the SQL binding feature and unique completionID passed along the querystring to retrieve all of those form results and edit them etc...
