I have a number of required fields that are required when a user registers.

I intended to create additional required fields in the future that if the user looked at their profile that they would be required to fill out.

However, it appears that fields are not required after the initial registration.

Is this a bug or intended?

Thanks,
Stuart

Hi. No fields should be allowed to be required after registration. What are the field types and under module configuration, validation configuration, what validation do you have turned on (as far as client side / ASP.NET or server side etc...?)

Chad,

Thanks for the quick reply.   I was getting the issue on my development server, which is just a quick and dirty DNN 4.9.0 server I setup.

Your post led me to look at how Dynamic registration was setup to validate.   I had both Client and Server validation turned on.

This resulted in the textbox field not being validated.  However, once I turned off client side and just left on Server it worked.

Thanks,

Stuart
