Hi

I installed stock quotes and added the Trust WSS_Medium line to the web.config (was wss_custom).  Before I got this error and no page would show, now I get the error but the page does show (no webpart).

ERROR:Request for the permission of type 'System.Net.WebPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

Can someone enlighten me what I done wrong?

Check out this forum thread on using the Stock Quote Web Part w/ the local web service.

You can temporarily change the security to be "Full" until you verify everything is working and then go from there to change it back to be WSS_Medium or possibly adding some security settings to your custom file. If you have a custom file its probably because you are using another web part that requires it so you might have to add some items to it.
