Can you provide some help of what should we put in the Stock Template field of the web part properties pane? Also what does Use Default Web Service mean?

Use these symbols within the template:

Available Symbols
$(StockSymbol)
$(LastTradePrice)
$(LastTradeDate)
$(LastTradeTime)
$(PriceChange)
$(DayOpen)
$(DayHigh)
$(DayLow)
$(Volume)
$(MarketCap)
$(PrevClose)
$(PercentChange)
$(52WeekRange)
$(EPS)
$(PE)
$(CompanyName)

We are working on full documentation but that should get you started. The 'Use Default Web Service' is not yet enabled. This will allow you to use your own stock web services or another one if you desire to. We might not end up having that in a final version, not sure yet.

Any other feedback?

It is very flexible to use, but I think you should have a couple of pre-made templates so the end-users can put it in the page without any HTML knowledge. Otherwise it works great. I needed to put it in the GAC though.

Thanks. We will work on a few pre-defined templates or at the very least document the HTML for different templates here. The HTML wouldn't be an issue if it rendered a rich text editor but still looking into what it would take to do that.

We have a few other web parts coming out soon for Flash Image Rotator, Random Rounded Image, and a nice news/announcement ticker.
