I am looking for a stock web part that will also display the current price of a commoditiy from NYMEX, specifically the price of crude oil.  I understand I can only get your current webpart to show stocks, but I wanted to see if it was possible to display the price of oil.

Hi. Yes basically anything you enter under finance.yahoo.com in the symbols is what this particular stock web part supports. We have found that it supports many different stocks though so you might check it, I know for example it accepts Australia stocks in the web part as well as US etc...

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunatly yahoo.finance.com doesn't show the price of oil, or other commodities I believe.  The commodity symbol is based by month and year, which makes it change constantly.  CL = Crude Oil, U = September and 07 = 2007; therefore CLU07 would be the prices for Sept07, then it would chage for October.  I just wondered if this could be accomplished.

If it cannot be done with this, that is fine, as I know I am looking for something specific.  I guess the best I can hope for now is that someone is putting the prices in an RSS feed that I can pull from.

Thanks again for the answer.
