We have purchased the Flash Image Rotator web part for SharePoint and are having issues with it:

1. The only way we can get the rotator to display images is when the web part is on the home page of our portal ( WSS3/MOSS2007).

The rotator will not display on team pages at: /sites/teamsite... no matter what url I input and I have tired every possible url from the full url to just /sites/teamsite/folder.

2. we have multiple servers load-balanced and serving up our sharepoint farm, and it seems like it only displays images when you are connected thru one server, and not the other ones. I verified this by bypassing the load-balanced url and accessing the server directly.

3. How can I tell what version we have of the Rotator web part?

Thanks

Joe

Joe,

We are getting ready to release a patch for this. An XML file that was being saved was not being saved to the correct directory.

Wanted to mention this was fixed in the most recent release. There is still an issue with servers that are using load balancing and so forth (requires a process to be setup to copy XML files between servers when they need updated).
