Currently we are using version 2.0 of the Interactive User Import. Currently the portal has around 1250 users.

I have tried to a very basic export of the users with just firstname and lastname but everytime I try to do the export it times out and never completes. We also have another portal with around 450+ users and the export runs fine takes a little while but doesn't time out.

I have done some simple module development and have found that the GetUserInfo method in the DNN framework is very slow so that is why we are using direct store procedures for most of the methods that require large amount of user data from the database.

Do have instances where export has worked on such large numbers, I have tried to trim the export down by filtering by a role but I have read that this simply adds a column so therefore you are still grabbing the entire user base.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. We prefer not to purchase another module but rather keep using the export and it works fine with a smaller user base.
