Data Springs Modules Community Questions & Answers

How to group fields on same row?

I'm looking to create a row of fields that functions a lot like a table.  A header row with 3 columns that gives titles to each column then 10 rows below with a text box in each cell.    I can sort of make this work when I float everything the problem is when the screen responds everything gets mixed him.   So having a fixed table would be best, the problem is organizing fields to be on the same row.  Grouping a few questions if you will.  is this possible?

If you know how to use excel then this project is not a big deal for you because you can easily do it. I am having paperwritingservice.reviews/pro-papers-review/ and I hire them for this type of work because they are trusted.

Hello,

In order to achieve this there are key settings you're going to have to configure perfectly in order to achieve such a layout with a Dynamic Form.

Under Question Look & Feel for each question:

Settings to pay attention to: Colspan, Field Width, Hide Field Label, Display field and label in same column, and add Question to Previous row.

If you configure all of these together right, you should be able to achieve this layout.

I have setup a small example for you at Data Springs dev site:

Username: host

Password: dnnhost

You should be able to extract this logic and achieve what you described.

  • Hi! I tried to look at this page to see if there was something I could be doing better - however there's an error when you try to log on.
